How would you set a checkbox to false and have it only be changed by a mass update or programming? I tried setting the initial value to false or "0" and setting it readonly but when I open the form a check is already in the box.  Sad

Changing the initial value won't help with an existing record. Initial value only affects new records. Any records already saved as checked need to be mass updated to 0.
