@XLookup; security, syntax and a general question

I have a couple questions if any have a few moments for this...

1. Having an interesting time of it with security issues.  I have created a simple application with two small databases to try to learn how to use the "X" type functions beginning with @XListValues.  I can make @XListValues "sing" as long as there is no security assigned to the application.  Once I assign security the @XListValues thing no longer works.  If I then disable security we are "singing" once again.  Any hints ?

Thank you...

Hello Cliff -
You will need to set the 'X User' and 'X Password' for your applications. This is set on the 'Application' tab of the Security Manager.
