What version of Sesame are you running?
Any Firewalls on the Server or Client computers?
Wired or wireless network?

Sesame 2.5, Wired network, windows server 2003, I don't believe the firewall is blocking it, it was connecting fine until I copied the lic file to the server, that's when it started acting up.

I found 3-instances of sesame server running, don't know how but I closed them all but one and now its back to a popup window telling me too many clients and closes, (only one client trying to connect).

Start with stopping the Sesame Server and restarting it. It sounds like it's in a bad state right now.

I changed some drive mappings and start-in directories, it seems to be working o.k. now. I have a c-drive for the operating system and a f-drive for the data on the server, Sesame server was starting on the c-drive, data was on the f:\drive, changed the sesame server to start from the f:\drive also, and set all clients to a start in directory of c:\. And it's all working I think !!  Undecided
