Subform row height

Is there a way to change the row height for a subform in table view?  I have four subforms on the main form and it would be great to be able to reduce the row height by about a third.  I thought I found something about this a while back in the forum that said it was not possible.  Is this still the case?

Thanks

It automatically scales based on the font size used in the subform LEs.

EDIT:
...based on the size of the largest font in any of the subform LEs.

Hi Carl,

Thanks for the response.

I tried changing the fonts for all the subform LE's to 8pt or 72pt in the subform database and I get no change in the size of the row height or the text size in the subform while in the parent form.  If I access the subform database directly the changes are reflected.  Is there another place that I should be changing the text size?

Thanks,

Brandon

What version of Sesame are you running? You are changing the "Text" font size, not the "Label" font size, right?

I have verified that it works in the following versions:
2.0.6
2.5.0
2.5.1

Tried it in both  2.5.0 & 2.5.1

Correct, I'm changing the text font size.

And again, when I change the font size and view the text in the subform database it reflects the changes. But the changes are not seen while in the parent form.

I just now tested it in another application that I have that contains a subform.  This time it did change the font size of the text while viewing the subform from the parent, but it did not change the row height.

Edit, I found another LE in this app that was not changed.  I changed it to the smaller font and now the row height has changed.

I'll have to look deeper into the app I'm having trouble with now that I know that it works.

Thanks for your help.

Got it working Carl.

I thought I was successfully banding all of the LE's to change the font but it turns out that I was missing one of them.

I selected them manually and now all is great.

Thanks again for your help, have a great weekend.

Yeah, this is why I as soon as I posted my first reply, I quickly added an edit to make sure I was clear that it takes on the height of the largest font out of all of the subform LEs.

Glad to hear that you got it working. Smiley
