Secure one database within App

My client wants to be able to open their app without having to enter a username & password to open it, i.e., default without security. However, they'd like to apply security to one of the databases within the app.

I couldn't find reference to applying security in this way in the User Guide. Is it possible to apply security to only one of the databases in the app via Security Manager?   And if so, how.

Thanks

Not with Security Manager, no. You can create a log in box using something like @FormAsDialog that appears when a form on the secured database is accessed. You can also split the one database that needs security out into its own Application.
