In Q&, a user is notified of a syntax error if searching a date field using the below syntax (there are only 30 days in Nov.). In sesame, we are getting all November AND some (all?) December records, too!

11/1..11/31

Is this a bug, or do we need to change are searching habits?

Yeah, I see what you mean. It appears that Sesame is simply ignoring the part it doesn't understand ("11/31"), which means that your retrieve spec is being interpreted as just "11/1..".

That makes sense. We've come to rely on the syntax error messages, so maybe a future version will have it.
