Sesame Freezes

Sesame freezes each time I try to add a new record?

I have restarted the server, restarted the router, Sesame is crashing each time I try to add a record. Got this from the client log:
Several "Failed to notify socket", "Can not set a field".   Sad

Sounds like your firewall is not allowing the second port to communicate. The information in this document may help you fix the problem.

I believe I got a defective cable or network card, when I went back out there it had a little pop-up that said "local area connection now connected". Or loose connection.  Undecided
