I have designed a report with breaks and subtotals.  Unable to find out how to label these subtotals.
Column headings, i'd like to underline them but do not find the custom pallete.
Thanks again for any help you can offer.

In the report design in the Group Footer closest to the Group Body you will see some Sum elements. Those are your subtotal elements. What you can do is delete a space from that Group Footer and add a Static Text element to that Group Footer with the label you want to have.

Too add lines under the column headers, Click on Group Header 1
Under Group Management choose Add New Group After This One
Click Perform Selected Action
Click Okay
Click in the Gray area to the right of Group Header 2
In the Layout Element Adder set the Select Element Type dropdown to Line
Click Add Element to Report for each column in your report.
Save and preview your design.

Ray,
The lines under the headers worked perfect.
I am not having as much success with the subtotal labels.
the Total label works, but not the subtotal lables, not so good.  I am doing something worong jus dont know what.
If I knew how to send a screen print you could see how the report is formatted and the results.

Hello,

How many Group Footers do you have?
Which ones are the Sum elements found in?

It sounds like you are going to want to place the Static Text label for your subtotals in Group Footer 4.
