Notification of replies to topic

I have a question regarding this forum.  In the past, I was always notified (by email) when there was a reply to a topic.

On my last message (and I will do so on this one), I checked the box next to "Check this if you wish to be notified of replies to this topic." 

I double-checked my email address and it is correct but I never received notification.  Did I forget to do something?

I checked the file that "backs" your profile and saw that you had checked to receive notifications on several threads. So check the email address you have registered with us to make sure that it is correct and that you are checking that address.

For the record, no notification on this one either.

Before I posted my first message, I clicked on "email" (to myself) and it opened an email addressed to me at the correct address, so I would think I have it set up correctly.

My email address is anonymous@notrealaddress.com and I receive all my mail.

What now?

Spencer, I see that you are asking to be notified about about particular threads. Have you also followed Bharat's instructions to tell the system that you want to receive those notifications via email?

My notifications also stopped after the forum upgrade. I have unset and reset the permissions, confirmed email address, check junk folders, no luck.

Nothing urgent. I just make it a point to visit the forums daily. Smiley

My settings seem fine. I also see, on THIS topic only, a new option at the top to 'delete topic notifications'.

This same option is not available on the main page 'Lantica Discussion'. I only see 'notify of replies' at the top. (setting, removing, re-setting, does not fix.)

OK - here we go.

1) Mark - Thanks for changing my email address in my earlier message.  I appreciate that.

2) Steve - Thanks so much for joining in on the discussion.  I am glad to see that someone else had the same problem.  I was beginning to feel like an idiot (and perhaps I really am - lol) but it is nice to see that I was not alone with this problem.

3) Bharat, Erika & Mark - When I first saw Bharat's message about did I change the settings, I tested my email (which worked and figured that was ok) and then I DID FIND SOMEPLACE (but don't remember where) where I was able to answer "yes" to receiving notifications in general, so I thought that was it.  I overlooked, the precise path Bharat had given me and appreciate Erika & Mark calling my attention to it.

To make a long story short, I BELIEVE I HAVE IT FIXED.

NOW, could SOMEBODY please post a reply to this topic so I can verify it?????
