Is @NL ( ) is just @Chr (13) that is carriage return, or is it @chr (10) + @Chr (13), or is it @Chr (13) + @chr (10)?  - @chr (10) is Linefeed.

On Windows it is 10 then 13.

On Linux it is just 10.

MS was very rigorous in their emulation of a teletype.

How about FileWriteLN (vRHandle, vStr ) command?  Is it the same as

Filewrite (vRHandle, vStr )
Filewrite (vRHandle, @NL ( ))

???   In MSWindows.....

Yes. You could also just use

FileWriteLn(handle, str)
