What is the easiest way and best way to find out orphan subform records and remove them?

Assuming your records are naturally linked:
  • Open the subform in Search/Update mode.
  • Look in the Command Area under Special Search Options for the Find Orphaned Records button. Click it to retrieve all the orphaned subrecords.
  • Once you have them, you can mass delete them.


If your records are relationally linked, let me know as you will need to use a mass update to find the orphans.
