Working in subform tables

I often notice that data typed directly into a subform table (line items of an invoice type ap) is lost when the focus leaves the table.

A bigger problem; data is often lost immediately after tabbing out of a cell when working in the last record in the table.

I have 'formcommit("lineitems") at the start of every command button on the parent and it helps to prevent lost changes, but I'd like to find a more thorough option.

There is no programming in the subform. Perhaps I should add some 'on element exit' code to save as you go?

Thanks for any input.

Steve

Steve! You're an Alpha tester. This would be something you file a bug report about.

OH! I thought perhaps I was just missing something about how subforms work.

I'll write it up and send it to the group.

Thanks Erika.
