Screen shot capture possibilities

Ok, humor me (or laugh if you wish) on this one, but I learned long ago that “if you don’t ask, you don’t git!”

Client wants to be able to paste/merge a screen shot of a portion of their database (the same coordinates each time) to a word document. The portion he wants captured is a subform. He’s been using a merge document where I’ve merged the subform data as an HTML table, but he doesn’t like the way it looks.

We’ve tried using One Note to capture the portion wanted and then pasting into the doc, but the difficulty is capturing the same coordinates each time. Of course, automating the process would be the preferred way to go about this.

Any thoughts?

Fix the HTML so it looks like what he wants?

Just wanted to shout out a big THANK YOU to Carl Underwood for your June 2010 Inside Sesame article called; “WordMerge 3 – Advanced Subform Support”.  With that information I was able to build a very nice presentation of my clients subform data. It’s much better looking than the screen shot idea, and my client loves it!

So, thanks again, outstanding work!

Your welcome!

I use it for myself, of course, but I haven't heard much feedback, and was wondering if it was being put to good use out there. So, thank YOU for the kudos and feedback!
