Can you do a lookup in the database you are working in?
IE:  In my inventory file, I want to put a value in a category field when I am entering shipments based on info that was entered when I first received the product.

Hi Deb,

Absolutely. All the X commands(XLookup, XResultSetSearch, etc) can be used to grab data from inside the same database as well as external databases.
