Unable to unlock Backup on interval files.

I am using Backup on interval in my server Sesame Ini file and in testing my back up plans I found none of my Backups that are created automatically can be unlocked.

I get the failed to unlock on any of the backups created. What can be my problem?

The files are being created properly in the correct timeframe if changes have been made on an application running on the server, however none can be opened.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Hi Robert,

Check the read-only state of the DB and DAT files, you're likely to find them to be set to Read-Only which is why Sesame can not unlock them.

Ray,

It works like a charm!

I am so glad I found this out in a non emergency situation.  This could have been a really stressful learning experience if I was trying to restore after a failure.

Thanks once again for the help.
