If I set an element width in my form design to 250.....
Is this same as setting the print in a printstring command to 250?  I want my element and the printstring to be the same width for easier entry.

In both cases you specifying how many pixels wide the element is. But your screen and a printed page are probably a different number of pixels wide. Most printers range between 300 and 1200 pixels to an inch. Monitors typically range between 70 and 125 pixels to the inch. The difference when going from one resolution to another is the "scale factor". This is found by dividing one resolution by the other and then multiplying the coordinate or size desired by the result. Of course, it is unlikely that inches on the screen and inches on a printed page will be psychologically equivalent. And, since you can set the resolution of the printed page using the NewPage command, this may not necessary.
