derived column in reports

I am trying to create a derived column in a report using the summary calculations of two other columns.  Is there an easy to do this?  It doesn't seem to like using summary columnns in derived columns.  I am trying to do a weighted average.

Hello Deb,

Any programming that references values of summary calculation elements has to come in a section after that section has run. So what you can do is add another group footer before that one, let's call it Group Footer 2 and the original one Group Footer 1. Duplicate the Summary calculation elements in the new Group Footer 2 and set them to be invisible. Then in your programmed element in Group Footer 1 reference the invisible summary calculation elements in Group Footer 2.
