WAN Network Question

Hi all,

I have a network architecture question -- we are currently running Sesame on a nine user license in Ontario, and occasionally VPN into the network to access Sesame with a client application remotely.  However, the VPN connections often experience a lag in processing reports or calculations.  We're okay with that for now.

However, we are going to be opening a second branch in Quebec in the next month or two, and I'm curious what other Sesame users are doing for WAN network solutions, and what works best.

Thanks,
Blair

I'm also interested in an answer of how better to arrange my code so that WAN processing doesn't work noticeably slower in reports and some other types of calcs.

What is your upload bandwidth through your company's ISP?  I suppose it could be possible if you have large databases that a slow upload would make it seem like its crawling over VPN.

...when you come in, you're in, for good.
