Disk Write Caching - Delayed Writing to Disk

I upgraded my OS from Windows XP to Windows7 and added a SSD Drive. Thought that would be faster and more dependable. I noticed that some of the behaviors of my Sesame changed especially when I write the file on the disk. I had to put Loiter ( ) commands in order for sesame to see the file before executing next command. I believe this has to do with the delayed disk cache writing that is used to optimize the performance at the cost of vulnerability to data in case of power failure. I remember Mark mentioning something about forcing the system to write data to disk immediately and override disk write caching. How do I do it? Anyone having similar experience?
