I have the image element.
I set the image path.
How do you tie the image to the photo?

Assuming you mean an "Image Box" when you state "image element", then you double-click in the image box, which will open a file dialog from which you select a file.

Or are you maybe talking about a static image?

I have image box, path set. When i double-click and get the pop-up window with the list of my images in it, I get error when i click on one of them:   "selected image: c:\chrpictures\sesame pictures\p1000282.jpg does not exist in the Images Root Directory".  Yet Sesame follows the path i set in order to display the list of pictures, and the pictures display in any other viewer.  What am i doing wrong?

You may be doing nothing wrong. The error may be misleading and Sesame doesn't like the variation in the jpeg image format that that image has.

Just as an experiment, can you bring the image up in any image editor and save it as a png or one of the other supported formats. Or, simply put a png or known working jpeg (from the same applications) into your image path, and see if you can see those?

Didn't work, but gave me an idea.  My pics were fresh from the camera, high def.  I resized them to 640 X 480 and everything works OK.

thanks for the help.

I doubt it was the resizing (Sesame really doesn't care and will scale as needed) so much as the proprietary format that many cameras produce. By loading the image into a program, resizing it, and then saving it, you are essentially saving it in a standard format.
