Saving Generated Reports for Website

I was told the other day that there is a way to save a generated report to a "folder" - and that it would then automatically appear on the website.

Unfortunately, the specifics regarding the "folder" were not known and I don't have a clue.

I have a WordPress website and if there is some way to save the report so that I don't have to copy and paste it, I would like to know about it.

If anyone can shed some light on this matter, I would appreciate it very much.

There is a way to set up a "Network Location" to appear as a "File folder".

These are the instructions for Windows 7:
1. Open "Computer"
2. Right-click in the blank area, and select "Add a network location"
3. Click Next
4. With "Choose a custom network location" highlighted, click Next
5. Enter your website info (e.g ftp://www.mysite.com or ftp://mysite.com/public_html/myfolder, etc.), and click Next
6. Uncheck the "Log on anonymously" box
7. Enter you FTP username, and click Next
8. Click Next (you can modify the name first if you want)
9. Click Finish, and wait a few moments for the site to open
10. Enter your FTP password when the "Log On As" window pops up
11. Check the "Save password" box, and click Log On
12. You should see the files/folders of the web server

Carl -

Thanks so much for that explanation.  Unfortunately, getting everything working properly is beyond my comprehension.  I did have to contact Ray today for another issue and he told me that what I want can be done right from within Sesame itself, so I am going to pay him to do it.

What I'll wind up with are just two command buttons right there on the database, so instead of clicking on reports and generating the one I want, and still having to save it, etc etc  all I'll have to do is click on the command button and EVERYTHING will be done automatically from within Sesame.  I can't wait for him to get it done for me.  Smiley

Nice to hear from you and glad to see you're still hanging in there and still being helpful
