	not sure what I need to do as its been couple of years since I set up database.� I own vending business and used q&a for many years and it was easy to do this on that. what I need to do is change the retail amount from .85 to $1.00 so that it figures out the correct profit and shortage when I input data into database.� I know I need to do it in the designer but can't remember where or how.� we just changed our pricing and I need to update this. in q&a I had it set that when I entered a field such as used it would calculate the retail and wholesale cost then when I entered how much paid it would calculate the over/short field.� I looked in program layout but don't see the old information there to input the new information. On-Form-Change programming for the form and all elements this is what i am referring to. I am using versoin 2.5.3. thank you

	Hello Laurie, Depending on your programming you may have to change it in several places. What I would recommend doing is in the design of your form, double click Program Layout. Click the Search menu bar at the top and then pick Find off the menu. Enter .85 in the search string field and then click Global Find. Close the search dialog, update that entry(If it pertains to costing and not something else) to 1.00 and then repeat the search. Once you are done, close the program editor, save the layout design, close the layout design, and reconcile your database file. -Ray

	Thank you so much Ray. I was able to find where I needed to change the amount to. I was going crazy as I had done this before but 3 years ago, and I couldn't remember how to find the information to change it. It could also be that the versions changed and it might have changed the way to do it from the way I did the change 3 years ago.

	ok need to change the field again. do i do it in the designer or the the database? i tried in designer saved and it does not save in database i tried in database but it does not save either help please

	After making the change in Sesame Designer, you will need to Reconcile the changes back to the DB file. -Ray
