Normal Topic failure while loading application (Read 2010 times)

failure while loading application

I just finished entering my information and printed out the report.  when I went to save the information by the reconcile like I do when I finish I received the message seen on the attached photo.  how do I recover the file?  this is all of my information for the year.  I do have a saved file but its from 9/14.

the dsr file when I do preview mode shows entries up to 11/4 is there a way to extract this information to the db file?

Just unlock the application.

Method 1

File --> Server Administration ---> user: admin   password: hello  ---> Unlock Application -----> select accrec.db


Method 2

c:\>
cd\Sesame2\Utilities\Lantica
Sunlock.exe C:\Sesame2\Data\accrec.db  // or whereever accrec.db may be

ok I tried both methods when I try to open file I still receive the same message.  I don't understand what happened. all I did was close the file then try to reopen so I could reconcile it with report like I always do so that the information is same in both.

Do you see the file accrec.db  when you explore in C:\Sesame2\Data\accrec.db  ?

It could be you placed it somewhere else or have the name wrong.

Are you using open from the menu on the top and then selecting accrec.db ?

yes both files are in folder the logs show an error with one of the records.    here is the log file

Hello,

Since it looks like you just re-created the DSR file from the DB file, all you need to do is the following.

Open the DSR file in Sesame designer
Expand the Application folder
Click Save As New Application
Choose accrec.db
Click Yes to overwrite.
Close Sesame Designer
Open Sesame and open accrec.db

thank you very much Ray you saved me from having to re imput accounts  from September now all I have to do is reimput the accounts from last week.
