Add to wish list.
It would so helpful to have an app for a cell phone or tablet to allow remote access to Sesame.

You can use Teamviewer app to do the same.

We agree. We would also like to have a native app for Android and iOS. The main difficulty is porting SBasic (which runs on the client) over from C/C++ to Java and Objective-C (the native languages of Android and iOS). We are basically waiting for tablet/phone operating systems and chips to become powerful enough so as to be able to run a decent Windows/Linux virtual machine, or for Andreas (the author of the SBasic compiler and Q&A 5.0) to have enough time and inclination to help us write a Java version of the client. He is a Java expert and would probably enjoy the exercise, but also needs to make a living in Germany.

We have used Teamviewer in the past with poor results.  The app simulates your remote desktop and most print is so small it is very hard to use.

I don't know about TeamViewer, but most vnc client/servers allow you to set a default resolution for the displayed desktop, which should usually be different (lower) from the resolution used when displayed on the monitor. There are also, typically, settings as to whether you wish to scale-down the desktop, or scroll over it.

Of course, it is important to design a special Sesame form that remote users will use that accommodates that lower resolution or scrolling.

Depending on what you're doing, you may also be able to make use of the built-in web server or the API to create dynamic web pages displaying Sesame data formatted for your device.
