I new to Sesame so I hope you folks a don't get tired of me asking questions.

In this app that i am work on i have a combo box that loads company names to choose from.  There over 60 companies in the box,  when it opens it extends below and behind the task bar.  Is the a way to control the drop down length to keep it from hiding the last 2 or 3 items in the list

Have you considered using other methods?

You could make your element more of a "Drill Down" style where you type the first few letters of the name you are looking for and that would limit the size of the box. You could also possibly have a selection of type of ins carrier (or some other criteria) that would reduce the company names to list.

Another approach would be to use a form as a pop up to present this info. you could even have more info about the company available.

There are lots of posts on neat stuff like this that Sesame allows us the ability to use, you could use them as examples, also there are many great articles in Inside Sesame that will help you achieve your goals and once you figure out the direction you want to take I am sure many on this forum will be happy to help.

Keep us posted!

Thanks for the advice.

Searched forum and found a @PopUpChoiceList.
Uses a smaller box for the popup and will stay on the screen.

Thanks again
