Looking up info in Sesame from an MS Excel file

In our company, we have many operations that record data on excel spreadsheets.  I want to have the spreadsheet automatically check the entered data against the the information in a record in a Sesame file.

Is there a way to do this?

(Once I have the data checked in the excel file, I can then manipulate it in many ways to alert the operator of any issues).

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hello,

The Sesame API, which can be found at www.lantica.com/shop/index.php/free-downloads/sesame-application-programming-int..., can be used with VBA to program the excel file to pull or push data from a Sesame database.
