Word Merge

I use the @asynchshell command, along with the creation of a .txt file from the data a record in the file to use in a mail merge Word document.

This works very well when I want to merge one record.  I now have a need to select a number of records and create mail merge documents from each of the records.

Is there a way to print multiple records?  The only way I can foresee is to create an excel file with the data from each of the files, but I don't know how to send the data from multiple records to an excel file.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Paul,

You do the same thing for multiple records as you do for one record. Each record is just on a separate line.

For Example your Text file would look like:
"RecordID","Name","Address"
"1", "John Paul", "1234 Candy Lane"
"2", "Samantha Zip", "567 Main St"

In the Samples directory of Sesame is a WordMerge sample that shows how to merge one record and multiple records.
