Renaming a Report in Sesame Designer

Renaming Your Report

1. Start Sesame Designer
2. Select 'File > Open Application'
3. Select the design file (DSR) you would like to work with
4. In the menu panel on the right side of the screen, select 'Manage A Database'
5. Select your database name
6. Select 'Manage Layouts' to open the Layout Manager
7. In the 'Transaction Builder' section set the 'Action' dropdown to "Rename A Layout"
8. In the 'Layout Name' dropdown select "Reports > Your_Report_Name"
9. Click into the 'New Name' field and type the new name of your report
10. Click on the 'Add Transaction To Batch' button
11. Click on the 'Run Batch' command button at the bottom of the window
12. Click on the 'Close' command button at the bottom of the window

Reconciling Your Design Change

1. In the menu panel on the right side of the screen, select 'Application'
2. Select 'Reconcile Existing Application'
3. Select the application (DB) you would like to reconcile your changes to
4. Select 'Reconcile Now' at the bottom of the Reconcile Options window
